We have done many treatments over the last 11 months. The majority were in heroin addicts. Our patient’s success rate for keeping clean is extremely high.

The patient is put onto a slow detox and withdrawal regime over 5 days.In that period the patient is sedated and experiences  no withdrawal symptoms or cravings. The patient needs to be clean of heroin for at least five to  seven days, according to protocol of Department of Health. We prefer the patient being accompanied by at least two family members.We follow our patients up after two weeks.

Treatment is then given for the next 3 months after which we want to evaluate the patient again.
